Thousands of members of Britains Royal Navy, Army and Royal Air Force took part in a parade and flypast to mark the Queens Diamond Jubilee on Saturday.The event is designed to reflect the close relationship between the Queen and the armed forces.More than 2,500 servicemen and women marched past the Queen in Windsor Castle before mustering in an arena.The event began with a fly past of nine RAF Typhoon jet fighters, flying in diamond formation, over the castle.All of the Armed Forces were represented in the main body of the parade, together with a tri-Service Guard of Honour for Queen Elizabeth, and six military bands.The Queen wore a turquoise silk, lace and sequined dress with a matching coat and hat by designer Angela Kelly.Philip wore the navy blue uniform of Admiral of the Fleet with the Garter sash. He was made Lord High Admiral last year by the Queen.
