Newly announced head of the British Forces General David Richards says that British troops might stay in Afghanistan for 40 years. General David said that the role of British troops in Afghanistan would end gradually which could take duration of 30 to 40 years. He ruled out the possibility of complete pull out of NATO Forces from Afghanistan.
