Around 78 sheep died as they fell in a mine due to a blast in Gwalior city of Indias central Madhya Pradesh state.As soon as the accident news spread, a doctors team reached at the site for rescue operation but they were only able to save about eight sheep.Expressing grief, Laxmi Narayan Baghel, sheep owner said they have suffered huge loss as the sheep were their source of income.No one is left out of them. They died as they fell in the ditch. They used to come here everyday for grazing but today because of the blast they fell in the ditch at the mining site.We want that if we can get some compensation as they were the only means of our income, he said.Coping up with the emergency situation, sheep owners requested the provincial government for compensation, so that they can look forward to some opportunities to survive.
