With one of the highest suicide rates in the world, around 70 people in South Korea recently took part in a course to experience death while still alive so that they could appreciate their lives better.People decided to try the course because they were starting to feel burdened by their mortality and did not want to leave it too late to reassess their life. Experience of being in a coffin made them realize how much they loved their family. Death is not an uncommon thing for people to think about or be confronted with in South Korea. After climbing in and out of the wooden coffins and watching others do the same in the death rehearsal, participants returned home to contemplate their rebirth, their current life and what they can do until they go into the coffin for real.Former South Korean President Roh Moo-hyun took his own life in 2009 after he was caught up in a bribery scandal, actors and actresses have done the same for different reasons over the years, shocking society and filling the pages of tabloids.
