Man fined $3,500 for violating coronavirus quarantine for eight seconds in Taiwan
TAIWAN (Dunya News) – A migrant worker from the Philippines has been fined $3,500 for breaking quarantine rules for just eight seconds in Taiwan.
The man was in quarantine at a hotel in Kaohsiung City when he stepped out of his room for few seconds but returned after security guard saw him.
Taiwan follows strict quarantine rules as per which, people are not allowed to leave their homes even for a short duration.
