Samsung to go notchless/holeless infinity with A90
No notch or punch hole camera but a pop-up mechanism with the selfie camera mounted on Galaxy A90.
(Web Desk) – New leaks of Samsung Galaxy A90 surfaced to show Samsung’s plan to go with notchless infinity display with its new variant.
According to sources, it will have a huge 6.73” screen without any notch or punch hole camera but a pop-up mechanism with the selfie camera mounted on it.
“The screen will have slim bezels – 1.2mm on the sides and 3.6mm on the bottom. The phone should be comparable in size to the Galaxy S10 5G, which also has a 6.7” 19:9 screen (with a triple punch hole cam).
The Galaxy A90 might also borrow the 25W fast charging of the 5G flagship (the LTE S10 phones go up to 18W). Based on a previous leak, the A90 battery will have 3,610mAh capacity.”
By the way, a couple of leaksters have said that the phone may be called the Galaxy A80 instead of A90.
Samsung unveiled four sketches of potential upcoming smartphone display designs back in 2018 at the Samsung Developer Conference,
We’ve seen the Infinity O screen design materialize on the A8S and Galaxy S10, the Infinity U has made its way to the A30 and A50, and the Infinity V display is featured on the A20.
The only one that remains unaccounted for is the New Infinity Display which has no visible notch whatsoever.
Considering that Samsung promises that the A90 will come with "all screen and no bezel," this model could finally make the fourth display format a reality.
The Galaxy A90 and its possible pop-up camera will debut on April 10.
