Japanese company to sell Swine Flu-resistant suit

A Japanese suit company unveiled on Thursday its latest design to hit the streets of Tokyo - an anti-flu business suit. Haruyama, a business suit franchise based in Okayama, Japan, claims the suit was proven to protect people from viruses including the latest H1N1 swine flu virus. According to the company, the suit's fabric is coated with titanium dioxide, which breaks down up to 40 percent of viruses, bacteria and mold when exposed to light in three hours. The suit was developed through a year-long joint research between several companies including Haruyama and Gaea, which specialises in coating photocatalyst for anti-bacterial and deodorising purposes. The suit looks just like any other business outfit strutting down the streets of Tokyo, with three colours and a variety of sizes to choose from.
