Summary Babar Azam, Fakhar Zaman and other international stars feature in the ILT20 season five auction scheduled for October 1.
DUBAI (Web Desk) - The player auction list for the fifth season of the DP World International League T20 (ILT20) has been released, featuring Pakistan stars Babar Azam, Fakhar Zaman and several internationally renowned cricketers.
The auction will be held on October 1 at the ICC Academy in Dubai, with more than 200 cricketers from 23 countries set to participate.
Players have been divided into three base-price categories of $80,000, $40,000 and $10,000.
The highest-priced category includes Babar Azam, Phil Salt, Tom Banton, Rahmanullah Gurbaz, Wanindu Hasaranga, Faf du Plessis, Liam Livingstone, Alzarri Joseph, Fakhar Zaman, Naseem Shah, Moeen Ali, Jonny Bairstow, Alex Hales and Chris Woakes.
The $40,000 category features Shadab Khan, Ibrahim Zadran, Jayden Seales, Tabraiz Shamsi, Sharaf Islam, Kusal Perera and Gulbadin Naib, among other notable players.
Reeza Hendricks, Mehidy Hasan Miraz, George Munsey, Ish Sodhi and Matthew Potts are among those listed in the $10,000 category.
All players from the UAE, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia will enter the auction at a base price of $10,000.
Each franchise will also have a right-to-match option for one former UAE player. Teams must complete squads of at least 18 and a maximum of 23 players.
The playing XI for every match must include at least two UAE players, two Afghan players and one player from another associate nation.
Each franchise has been allocated a separate auction purse, with MI Emirates entering the auction with the largest budget.
