The decision follows an inquiry by a three-member disciplinary committee into Hamza Nazar’s foreign visa application process. The investigation revealed that the cricketer had concealed crucial facts and submitted false and misleading details.
The disciplinary committee submitted its recommendations after giving Hamza Nazar an opportunity to present his defense and thoroughly reviewing the evidence.
Reaffirming its commitment to upholding discipline, the PCB stated that actions involving misrepresentation and non-disclosure go against the core standards of honesty and professionalism in Pakistan cricket, emphasizing that zero tolerance will be shown toward such violations.
