According to sources, former captain Younis Khan is likely to be appointed as the head coach of Pakistan's Test team. He is also being considered for a role in the national selection committee.
Sources further revealed that former all-rounder and captain Mohammad Hafeez is likely to be appointed as the PCB's Director of International Cricket. In addition, he may also be given responsibilities within the national selection committee.
Meanwhile, sources indicated that changes could be made to the Test team's leadership and coaching structure, with current Test team coach Sarfaraz Ahmed and captain Shan Masood likely to be removed from their respective positions.
However, Sarfaraz Ahmed is expected to continue his duties with the Pakistan Shaheens team.
