RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) - Australia have set a target of 201 runs against Pakistan to win the first match of One Day International (ODI) series between the two sides.

Earlier, Pakistan captain Shaheen Shah Afridi won the toss and elected to bowl first.

Batting first, Australia were bowled out for 200 runs in 44.1 overs. Matt Renshaw top-scored with 61 runs, while Matthew Short contributed 55 runs.

For Australia, Alex Carey scored 19 runs, captain Josh Inglis made 13, Nathan Ellis added 8, and Oliver Peake chipped in with 7 runs.

Three Australian batters were dismissed without scoring.

For Pakistan, debutant Arafat Minhas starred with the ball, claiming five wickets.

Abrar Ahmed took two wickets, while Shaheen Shah Afridi, Haris Rauf, and Salman Ali Agha picked up one wicket each.
