Summary Punjab Sports Board to launch 16 free academies for boys and girls across all divisions, offering training in multiple sports including cricket, football, hockey, boxing, and swimming.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – The Punjab Sports Board has announced the launch of 16 free sports academies across the province.
PSB spokesperson said these academies will be open to both boys and girls with no registration or tuition fees.
DG Sports Punjab, Muhammad Tariq Qureshi, instructed coaches to prepare for the academies, noting that this is the first time in the country’s history that such a large number of free sports academies are being opened.
The academies will be established in all divisions and districts of Punjab.
The facilities will offer training in a wide range of sports, including boxing, athletics, swimming, table tennis, badminton, football, hockey, archery, wushu, karate, taekwondo, squash, and cricket.
