KARACHI (Dunya News) – Hyderabad Kingsmen defeated Rawalpindiz by 5 wickets in the 24th match of the Pakistan Super League 11.

Hyderabad Kingsmen chased down the modest target of 122 runs in the 17th over with the loss of 5 wickets.

Captain Marnus Labuschagne, along with Kusal Perera and Irfan Khan Niazi played key roles in securing the victory for Hyderabad Kingsmen.

For Rawalpindiz, Asif Afridi took two wickets, while Ben Sears, Mohammad Amir, and Saad Masood claimed one wicket each.

Earlier at the National Stadium Karachi, Hyderabad Kingsmen won the toss and chose to field first.

Batting first, Rawalpindiz managed 121 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in their 20 overs, with Sam Billings scoring 26 and Yasir Khan making 24 runs.

For Hyderabad Kingsmen, Mohammad Ali and Hunain Shah took three wickets each, while Glenn Maxwell and Asif Mahmood took one wicket each.

It is worth mentioning that “Pink Day” was observed during PSL 11, with players and officials from both teams wearing pink caps and ribbons to show support for breast cancer awareness.

The second match will begin at 7:00 p.m. at the National Bank Stadium Karachi, featuring Karachi Kings against Islamabad United.

Islamabad United are currently third on the table, while Karachi Kings sit in fourth place.
