ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Federal Minister for Interior and Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Mohsin Naqvi held a meeting with Sri Lankan Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs, Sunil Kumara Gamage.

The discussion focused on strengthening bilateral cooperation in sports, particularly cricket, and ways to enhance collaboration between the two countries.

The two sides agreed to increase joint efforts to promote cricket and other sports.

Mohsin Naqvi emphasized the growing warmth in the relationship between Pakistan and Sri Lanka, noting that their ties would be further strengthened through sports.

He also praised the excellent arrangements made during the T20 World Cup and thanked Sri Lanka for its hospitality and kindness.

During the meeting, Mohsin Naqvi invited the Sri Lankan minister of Sports to visit Pakistan. Pakistan’s High Commissioner to Sri Lanka was also present during the meeting.
