(Web Desk) - Sania Mirza, the tennis sensation, expressed deep sadness over the ongoing Israeli bombardment in the Gaza Strip.

She referred to the situation as “heartbreaking,” emphasizing that this violence has been targeting innocent Palestinians since the beginning of October.

In her Instagram story, Mirza, who is married to former Pakistani cricket star Shoaib Malik, voiced her concerns about the world’s silence in the face of the tragic loss of Palestinian lives, especially children, due to Israeli bombings.

The indiscriminate Israeli bombing in Gaza has resulted in the tragic loss of over 8,000 Palestinian lives, including 3,342 children, and left more than 20,000 people injured.

Sania Mirza is not the only celebrity to react to the humanitarian crisis in Gaza.

Pakistani actor Ushna Shah previously criticized Western media for their biased coverage of the conflict and called out celebrities for not speaking out in support of Palestinians during the Israeli onslaught.

Various celebrities, including singer Atif Aslam, have also expressed their solidarity with Palestine amid the ongoing conflict.

Furthermore, Piers Morgan, a renowned TV personality, has been an advocate for Palestinians in Gaza, questioning Israel’s indiscriminate bombardment and raising concerns about the destruction of Palestinian homes and the consequences for the displaced population.
