Hangzhou, China (Web Desk) - In Asian Games, Pakistan beat Malaysia in Men's Kabaddi match at Hangzhou on Wednesday and secured its berth for the semi final.
Pakistan scored 58 points while Malaysia could score 35 points. A medal is now confirmed for Pakistan in the event since the losing semi-finalists get a bronze in the Asian Games.
In an earlier match on Tuesday, Pakistan beat South Korea by 56-21 points. It was Pakistan's first win in their second match in Group B. The win was crucial for Pakistan as they had lost their first group game against defending champions Iran.
The semi-finals will be played on October 6 and the gold medal match will take place on the following day (October 7).
