WWE Hell in a Cell takes place tonight
Roman Reigns will face Braun Strowman for the Universal Championship.
(Web Desk) – WWE is all set to present its 10th annual Hell in a Cell pay-per-view (PPV), which will take place at the AT&T Centre in San Antonio, Texas.
WWE recently released a video showcasing the creation of the structure, notorious for the danger it presents to the wrestlers, albeit with an aesthetic change.
While the original cell was silver when it first debuted at Bad Blood all the way back in 1997 and retained its colour for a well over 20 years, this year’s seems not to be the case.
WWE’s live stream showed the engineers constructing a crimson cell, leading to an outpour of speculations from the fans about the noteworthy change.
Competitors usually utilise the cell structure to their advantage, inflicting as much punishment on their opponents as they see fit. But fans have expressed their frustration over the lack of blood which the gimmick matches are usually famous for.
This year’s HIAC will host two matches when reigning Universal Champion Roman Reigns defends his title against Money in the Bank holder Braun Strowman with hardcore legend Mick Foley as the special guest referee.
The second cell match features Jeff Hardy who will face Randy Orton in what his Hardy’s first-ever match inside the steel structure.
