Summary Pakistan's win over Sri Lankans have lifted the team to seven points on the score card

LAHORE (Web Desk) – Pakistan has outclassed Singapore in a match of preliminary round of Group B to qualify for the semi-finals in 4th Women’s Asian Hockey Federation (AHF) Cup on Thursday.

The first team to qualify for the next round was Thailand which toppled Sri Lanka with 5 to nil on Wednesday confirming its spot.

Pakistan’s win over Sri Lankans have lifted its score card to seven points with now being the leader of Group B.

Final match of the event is scheduled to be held on October 9 after top two teams from each group clinch a place in semis that will take place on October 8.

Earlier this week, Pakistan beat Cambodia with staggering 11 to 0 on Tuesday in its first international tournament after three years. Pakistani team led 4 to 0 in the first half and stunned Cambodians with seven more goals after the interval.
