Summary Pakistan U-16 soccer team returned from Sri Lanka after winning Asian School Youth Tournament.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistan Under-16 soccer team reached Allama Iqbal Airport, Lahore from Sri Lanka on Friday night after winning the Asian School Youth Tournament, Dunya News reported.
The Pakistan youth team beat hosts Sri Lanka 4-2 in the final to lift the winning Asian School Youth Tournament title. The Green shirts thrashed arch rivals India 10-0 in their quarter-final match.
Pakistan Under-16 soccer team coach Haris Bin Haroon while talking to newsmen at the airport said that his side worked very hard to win the tournament. Also speaking on the occasion, Pakistan Under-16 soccer team captain Amman Janjua said that he is very happy because his team performed very well in the tournament.
