Chairman NASC for Sports Iqbal Ali resigns

The Chairman of the National Assembly Standing Committee (NASC) for Sports Iqbal Muhammad Ali has resigned from his post, Dunya News reported on Saturday. Addressing a press conference in Islamabad Iqbal Muhammad Ali said that his committee presented recommendations for improvement in the sport of Cricket many a time but everytime the recommendations were outrightly rejected or ignored in a humiliating way. He also said that the prestige of the parliament was disrespected just to save the nose of an individual which is condemnable. He further said that even if now his recommendations are given due consideration, he would take back his resignation.
