Afridi faces music for speaking heart out

Pakistan Cricket Board issued a show cause to Shahid Afridi for expressing reservations over selection committees decisions, Dunya News reported on Tuesday. The notice stated that Afridi gave interview to a private TV channel and questioned the selection of cricketers for series against South Africa, without having a permission from the Board to do so and thus he violated the central contract. Afridi is asked to give reply within a week, which failing to do so, would allow PCB chairman Ijaz Butt to take unilateral action against him. The consequences would include removal from captaincy and temporary ban.
