Australian player Anastasia Rodionova has defeated Indian No. 1, Sania Mirza in the womens singles final of the Commonwealth games' tennis event.The two hour game proved interesting as well as tough. Tough because of the mosquitoes which irritated the Australian player throughout the match. The mosquitoes were also on Sanias side, but being an Indian and playing a lot in her homeland, perhaps she was used to these kinds of situations. Anastasia defeated Sania by two sets to one. The score remained 6-2, 2-6 and 7-6.
