The SAF Games stunning gold medalist Naseem Hameed disqualified in 42nd National Athletics Championship (NAC) while Pak Army athlete Liaqat and WAPDA athlete Nadia Nazir have been declared the fastest athletes of 42nd NAC,2010. Pakistans fastest athlete Naseem Hameed during race went on a wrong track and consequently declared disqualified. The athlete from Pak Army, Liaqat has been rewarded with the Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Award while the WAPDA Athlete, Nadia has been rewarded with the Benazir Bhutto Shaheed Award. Pakistan Army stood winner of the 42nd National Athletics Championship by winning, in mens category, 16 gold medals, 13 silver medals and 6 bronze medals.
