PHF announces hockey squad

Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) announced their squad for next months tour of Europe following one-day trials at the Hockey Club of Pakistan Stadium. Four senior players have been included while Olympian Waqas Akbar will lead Pakistan Whites.Chief selector Hanif Khan announced both the teams on due to the fact that inclusion of some senior players in the Whites team. The players from the senior camp who will not be considered in the senior side will get a chance to perform in Whites team. Players included Imran Butt, Zeshan Ali, Tasveer Abbas and Abdul Quyoum Dogar and Khashi Ali have been given chance to play for the whites.It is pertinent to note that Pakistan senior team will visit to Europe in the second week of July, while Pakistan Whites will take part in a Four-Nation Tournament in China from July 7-11.
