Pakistan cricket team arrived in Karachi today morning after participating in the ICC World Twenty20 in West Indies. The national team failed to defend its title as it faced defeat from Australia in the semi-final of the mega event.Skipper Shaid Afridi talking to the representatives of the media outside the Karachi airport said that the team worked in proper manner. Afridi applauded the selection committee for their selections. He said that the national side tried to provide satisfactory performance with the available players.Afridi said that he committed couple of errors during the tournament, however he defended his decision of bowling Ajmal during the last over of the crunch game against Australia. He said that Ajmal and Amir are match winning bowlers. Afridi informed that he took advice from the coach and other players during the tournament. He added that he was thoroughly disappointed due to defeat against Australia. He asserted that the team played as a unit under his captaincy.It is pertinent to note that Pakistan could achieve success in only two of the six matches they played in the tournament.
