NYON (AP) Tottenham has been fined 15,000 euros ($18,500) after three spectators ran on the pitch in an ambush marketing stunt during a Europa League match.
UEFA s disciplinary panel ruled on the case Thursday.
Play was stopped for 10 minutes and the Tottenham and Partizan teams left the field after the third invasion in the first half on Nov. 27.
All three spectators wore T-shirts promoting a company which makes official Tottenham merchandise.
Tottenham apologized to fans for the "totally unacceptable behavior." All three were arrested.
The London club has advanced to the round-of-32.
