Actress Veena Malik filed a writ petition against Cricketer Muhammed Asif at the Lahore High Court (LHC) on Wednesday as earlier she was denied an FIR against the cricketer while Asif challenged in the High Court the orders of Session Judge to register a case against him. In her plea at the LHC, Veena said the Session Court ordered the case be registered against Muhammad Asif; but, police remained inactive on the issue. Veena Malik further alleged police of partiality; therefore, he requested the LHC to get the orders of Session court enacted. Muhammad Asif maintained in his petition in the court that Veena did not provide any material to the Session Court, so for the case cannot be registered.
