Indian star batsman Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar sets a new world record of scoring 200 the highest run in the history of One Day International. Tendulkar, 36 years of age has a batting average of 44.61 in the One Day format of the game. Apart from being the only player to score a double century he also has 45 centuries and 93 half centuries registered to his name.Sachin overcame the record of Zimbabwean batsman Charles Coventry who was 194 not out. Prior to Coventry Pakistani star Saeed Anwar was the record holder who also scored 194 in an innings.
