SHARJAH (AFP) - Pakistan bolstered by a brilliant hundred by Mohammad Hafeez posted a score of 326-5 in their allotted 50 overs in the third day-night international against Sri Lanka in Sharjah on Sunday.
Hafeez, who struck 122 in Pakistan s 11-run win in the first match here, made a career best 140 after Sri Lanka won the toss and opted to bowl first.
Opener Ahmed Shehzad chipped in with an 89-ball 81 while skipper Misbah-ul Haq made a fiery 26-ball 40.
Pakistan brought in paceman Umar Gul for Sohail Tanvir after the right-arm paceman was flown in as cover for Junaid Khan, who was also fit to play. Gul, 29, played his first match since undergoing a knee operation in May this year.
Sri Lanka remained unchanged from the side which won the second match.
The five-match series is level at 1-1. Sri Lanka won the second match by two wickets in Dubai on Friday.
