CONAKRY (AFP) - The Guinea football federation (Feguifoot) announced on Thursday they will not renew the contract of French coach Michel Dussuyer when it expires at the end of December.

The 54-year-old has been in charge since 2010 but failed to qualify the team for either the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations (CAN) in South Africa or the 2014 World Cup, results the federation deemed "insufficient".

Dussuyer also coached Guinea at the 2004 Nations Cup where they were beaten in the quarter-finals by eventual champions Tunisia.
