SHARJAH (AFP) - Pakistan, who batted after winning the toss, made 322-5 in their allotted 50 overs in the first day-night international against Sri Lanka in Sharjah on Wednesday.

Mohammad Hafeez struck a brilliant 122 while debutant Sharjeel Khan made 61 and Sohaib Maqsood 73 on a flat Sharjah stadium pitch.

Shahid Afridi hit a fiery 12-ball 34. Paceman Suranga Lakmal took two wickets.

The five-match series is followed by a 1-1 drawn Twenty20 series. The two teams will also play three Tests.
