Summary He has now been given a contract extension five times.
COPENHAGEN (AP) - Denmark coach Morten Olsen says he has renewed his contract with the Danish football federation for another two years, despite failing to lead the team to next year s World Cup.
Olsen says he still was "annoyed" that the Danes didn t qualify for Brazil, but said Thursday it was time to "put the disappointment behind us" and look forward "in a constructive way."
Olsen has been coaching Denmark since 2000 and is the first Dane to reach 100 national team matches both as a player and coach.
In October, the Danes finished second in Group B of European World Cup qualifying, but missed out the playoffs as they were the worst runner-up in the nine groups.
