KARACHI (Online) - First National Beach Games 2014 would be held from 28th to 30th April 2014.
Mudassar Arain, Secretary General, SOA has informed that the Sindh Olympic Association will organise the 1st National Beach Games 2014 which will be held at Sea View, Clifton, Karachi from 28th to 30th April 2014.
He said the event would be organized in collaboration and assistance from Pakistan Sports Board, Pakistan Olympic Association, Sports Department, Government of Sindh & Sindh Sports Board.
The following departments and Provinces & others will take in this mega event. Army, Air Force, Navy, Police, Railway, WAPDA, Higher Education Commission, Sindh , Punjab, KPK, Balochistan, Islamabad, Fata, AJK & GBT.
Sindh Olympic Association unanimously approved that the 1st National Beach Games 2014 will organise at Sea View, Clifton, Karachi from 28th to 30th April 2014.
The following sports disciplines will be organise in both categories (Men & Women).
(Men): Beach Handball, Beach Netball, Beach Volleyball, Beach Kabbadi, Sailing, Beach Tug of War, Beach Throw ball, Beach Football, Beach Body Building, Sailing and Beach Judo.
(Women): Beach Handball, Beach Netball, Beach Volleyball, Beach Throw ball, Beach Football, Beach Tug of War and Beach Judo.
The first meeting of organising committee will be held at Karachi in the last week of December 2013.
