Summary

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has turned down the invitation to send U-21 team in the 11th South Asian Games which begins in Dhaka later this month. As the financial terms were conveyed late to us and considering our financial constraints, we will not be able to send Pakistan U-21 cricket team to Dhaka, director cricket operations of the PCB, Zakir Khan, said. The POA had sent accreditation and entry by name forms to the PCB on Dec 21 last with a request to return the same after completing before Dec 30. Cricket will be making its debut at the South Asian Games since its inception. Pakistan will compete in 21 of the 23 disciplines, archery and cricket being the two exceptions.
