JERUSALEM (AP) - FIFA President Sepp Blatter says Israel has promised to help solve one of Palestinian football s biggest problems: Traveling in and out of the Palestinian territories.

Blatter is visiting Israel to address Palestinian complaints about restrictions on player movement. The Palestine Football Association has called for sanctions on Israel because of the issue.

Blatter met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who says on Tuesday he has pledged to help FIFA find a solution, and their meeting is proof the problem is a "national interest" for Israel.

FIFA will form a taskforce to recommend solutions before the group s next executive committee meeting in October.
Neither Blatter nor Netanyahu provided any details on Israeli plans to solve the problem.
