MADRID (AP) - Real Madrid has presented its latest star signing, midfielder Francisco "Isco" Alarcon, to fans and media at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium.
The club completed the 21-year-old s transfer from Malaga on Thursday, bolstering its already star-studded squad with one of Europe s most sought-after young players.
Isco said he was delighted to be at the club, and that "there is nothing greater for a footballer than to be at Real Madrid, it s the maximum."
Isco has signed a five-year contract and was presented by club president Florentino Perez after passing a medical exam on Wednesday.
Isco helped Malaga reach the Champions League quarterfinals last season and guided Spain to the European under-21 title this summer.
