PCB names 16-member squad for Australia tour

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced 16-member squad for Test Series against Australia while Captain Younas Khan is not included in the team. Muhammad Yousaf will lead the team in the one-day matches as well. Chief Selector Iqbal Qasim announced the team in Qaddafi Stadium Lahore on Tuesday. Fast bowler Yasir Arfaat and wicket keeper Sarfaraz Ahmed have been dropped. The squad includes: Salman Butt, Khurram Manzoor, Imran Farhat, Muhammad Yousaf, Misbahul Haq, Shoaib Malik, Fawad Alam, Faisal Iqbal, Kamran Akmal, Umer Akmal, Danish Kaneria, Saeed Ajmal, Umer Gul, Muhammad Asif, Muhammad Aamir and Abdur Rauf. Muhammad Yousaf has been appointed captain of the team for Australian tour. Iqbal Qasim said that Muhammad Younas has been dropped because he did not play domestic cricket while Shoaib Malik would have to perform in Australia.
