HAMILTON (AP) - The Chiefs crossed for three tries in scoring 24 points in an explosive opening 15 minutes on Saturday before surviving a dramatic revival by the Sharks to win 37-29 in a rematch of last year's Super Rugby final.
Winger Asaeli Tikoirotuma and centers Bundee Aki and Tim Nanai-Williams scored tries as the Hamilton-based Chiefs sprinted to a 24-0 lead before repelling one of the comebacks of the season to end a two-match losing run that had threatened their title defense.
