CARSON, California (AP) - Omar Gonzalez, Jose Villarreal, Robbie Keane and Jack McBean all scored to lead the Los Angeles Galaxy to their first ever CONCACAF Champions League semifinals with a 4-1 win over Costa Rico s Herediano on Wednesday.

 

Gonzalez headed home a corner in the 18th minute before Villarreal held off two defenders to curl home a shot from 22 yards in the 69th.

 

Keane added another from a tight angle in the 83rd minute and McBean sealed the win in stoppage time as the Galaxy advanced with a 4-1 aggregate after a 0-0 draw in the first leg last week in Heredia, Costa Rica. Elias Aguilar scored in the 85th minute for Herediano.

 

Los Angeles will play Mexico s Monterrey in April.
