ZAGREB: Zagreb defender Mateo Pavlovic has signed a three-and-a-half-year deal with Bundesliga outfit Werder Bremen, the Croatian First Division side said on Tuesday.
"I m so happy, delighted. My dream has come true, I m joining a big club in the Bundesliga, where I will play in front of full houses," the 22-year-old Pavlovic told local media.
According to the Sportske Novosti daily Werder Bremen paid 1.5 million euros ($1.9 million) to secure the transfer.
