Talking exclusively in Dunya News special program for ICC Champions Trophy Ek Cup aur Ho Jaye, he said Australian team was undoubtedly a strong team but Pakistan team also had potential to beat any side in the world. The speedster opined that Indian team showed no enthusiasm, however it should remain in the event. Answering a question, he said that he was unfit during his first ever match also, therefore, demands of good performance and participation in every match from him were not right. The lucky winners of cricket quiz were given cricket bats signed by Shoaib Akhtar during the show.
