Summary A petition was filed in IHC on Wednesday for the implementation of sports policy by PSB.
In writ petition, former Director General PSB Brig (Retd) Arif Mehmood Siddiqui took the plea sports policy was approved in 2008 under which any office bearer of any federation was declared ineligible to take part in election process beyond two terms.The petitioner told the court that it was responsibility of PSB to ensure implementation of sports policy but the board had failed to do so despite lapse of 3 months, he added.The petitioner pleaded the court to direct PSB for the enforcement of sports policy in constitutional manner.
