Caroline Wozniacki of Denmark beat error-prone Belgian Yanina Wickmayer 6-3 6-3 on Saturday to advance to the women's final of the U.S. Open against former champion Kim Clijsters. Rafael Nadal defeated Fernando Gonzalez 7-6 (4), 7-6 (2), 6-0 to complete the match they began on Thursday. Nadal won the first four points of Saturday's play to close out the second-set tiebreaker before sweeping the final set.
