Oudin shocks Dementieva, sad Jankovic also falls

Top seed Safina, also seeking her first Slam title, rallied to defeat Germany's 67th-ranked Kristina Barrois 6-7, 6-2, 6-3. In Mens doubles, Aisam-ul-Haq and Jarko defeated Kazakhstans Globio and Uzbekistans Istomin 6-4, 7-6, 6-4 to qualify for the second round.
