A day after their hardest Alpine ride, Tour de France competitors have begun the races longest stage with Bradley Wiggins in the yellow jersey.The 226-kilometer ride from Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne to Annonay-Davezieux features two big climbs on Friday.Wiggins extended his overall lead a day earlier, with defending champion Cadel Evans losing ground.Dutch rider Robert Gesink, the Rabobank team leader, dropped out of the race on Friday to focus on the Spanish Vuelta. He had been in 67th place, more than an hour behind Wiggins.
