Butt terms withdrawal of cases victory for PCB

Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Ijaz Butt on Friday has termed the agreement made between PCB and ICC President David Morgan a victory for PCB. According to the agreement, PCB will receive more than a billion rupees. Talking to media at Qaddafi stadium Lahore, Ijaz Butt said PCB would withdraw cases against ICC in 15 days under the agreement. He said that board had to resolve many issues which would be settled with the additional one billion rupees received from ICC. According to a clause included in the agreement, if the security situation improves in Pakistan before the World Cup 2011 then the matches would still be held in the country. Chairman PCB said that ICC had urged India to allow Pakistani citizens to visit India for watching World Cup matches.
