Summary
Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman Ijaz Butt will call on ICC Officials to discuss World Cup 2011 hosting rights matters in Dubai tomorrow. Pakistan was to host the world cup however the law and security situation in the country put the matters into limbo. An earlier meeting between Ijaz Butt and ICC officials to discuss the matters last month remained unsuccessful. Mr Butt hoped that all matters pertaining to the hosting of world cup would be settled in meeting with ICC President David Morgan. Fourteen matches of the mega event were given to Bangladesh, India and Sri Lanka after the Sri Lankan Cricket Team was attacked in Lahore. The secretariat of the mega event was also shifted to Mumbai from Lahore and ICC said it would give Pakistan share from the advertisement campaign and hosting rights.
