Asif to prove fitness in practice match

Banned fast bowler Muhammad Asif has speeded up efforts to return to the international cricket. He is playing a practice match in Karachi to prove his fitness. He is representing AO Club against Karachi Night Riders in a match to be played at Asghar Ali Shah Stadium. All rounder Sohail Tanvir and fast bowler Sohail Khan will also play in this match. Asif is included in first 23 players for the Champions Trophy. Asif is banned till September 22, for being positive in dope test in IPL. Champions Trophy will kick off from September 23.
