Summary Lahore won three gold medals on the opening day of the Inter-Division Weightlifting Championship.
The Inter-Division Weightlifting Championship started at the Punjab University Old Campus Hall on Friday. Competition in four different weight categories was held on the opening day of the championship.In the 56kg weight category, Muhammad Shahzad of Sahiwal won the gold medal. Haider Ali of Lahore won gold medal in 62kg weight category. In the 69kn weight category, Yasir ali of Lahore won gold medal while Muhammad Tahir of Lahore won gold in 70kg category.
