4,000 kilogram of copper wire was stolen from a goods train after changing the number of boggy.

According to details, 4,000 kilogram of electric wire was removed from Lahore-Khanewal section and was booked in boggy No 74452 for Mughalpura Store from Raiwind but the said boggy could not reach its destination even after passage of 10 day.The initial inquiry revealed that an invalid number was placed on the said boggy and the reservation was made from Okara to Kharian. The railway boggy was received at the Kharian Railway Station and the copper wire was stolen.DS Railways has hinted about involvement of some railway official in this fraud. According to SP Railways Police, Raja Zaheer, theft of boggy was reported in the FIR while investigation is being made in the theft of copper wire.
